Grant Sleuth is a software service that uses artificial intelligence and live web searches to help you find grant funding opportunities relevant to a project you describe, track your grant applications, and generate draft pitch text. It is a research and productivity tool.
Grant information (including whether a grant is open or closed, closing dates, funding amounts, eligibility and links) is gathered automatically from public web sources by AI and may be incomplete, out of date or wrong. Draft pitches are AI-generated starting points, not professional advice.
You must verify all grant details — especially deadlines and eligibility — on the funder's own website before relying on them. We do not guarantee that the Service will find all relevant grants, that any listed grant is available to you, or that any application will succeed. The Service does not provide financial, legal or grant-writing advice.
You must provide accurate account information and keep your login method secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract. One account per person or organisation; you may not share an account to circumvent usage quotas.
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Beyond those rights, subscription fees for a commenced billing period are not refundable merely for change of mind or unused quota.
You must not: use the Service unlawfully; attempt to probe, overload, reverse engineer or gain unauthorised access to the Service or its AI providers; scrape or bulk-extract the Service's output for resale; use the Service to generate misleading grant applications; or resell access without our written agreement.
You retain ownership of the content you provide (your project descriptions, notes and pipeline data) and of the pitch drafts generated for you — you may use, edit and submit them freely. You grant us a licence to store and process your content solely to operate and improve the Service. We retain all rights in the Service itself, including its software, design and branding.
The Service relies on third-party providers (including Anthropic for AI processing, Stripe for payments, and hosting/database providers) and links to external websites (such as funders' pages). We are not responsible for third-party websites or their content. Grant decisions are made solely by funders; we have no relationship with the funders listed in your results unless stated.
We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may modify features, and may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms (with a refund of any unused prepaid period if the termination is not due to your breach).
To the maximum extent permitted by law (and subject always to clause 5), we exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss, including missed grant deadlines, unsuccessful applications, or decisions made in reliance on Service output; and our total liability in connection with the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or, where liability cannot be so limited, to re-supplying the service.
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and disputes are subject to the courts of that state. If a clause is found invalid, the rest remain in force. We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified via the Service or email with reasonable notice, and continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
